The Crisis Vest is what Ray Gillette calls his white vest with an ISIS patch over the left breast. Ray can be seen wearing it while in the ISIS control room during emergencies.

The vest is likely a reference to the white vests often worn by NASA Flight Director Gene Kranz, especially the vest worn during the Apollo 13 mission, when there was also a major crisis.
