M18 Claymore Mine
The M18A1 Claymore mine is an above ground anti-personnel fragmentation mine. The weapon is US-made and primarily used by the defense as a final protective fire or by the offense to initiate an ambush. The claymore is triggered by a hard-wired hand trigger and fires approximately 700 metal shards out in a 60-degree dispersal pattern. The mine is curved with one side reading "FRONT TOWARDS ENEMY
