Wilhelm Schmeck was the inventor of the Whisper Drive. Schmeck was killed in South Beach Florida, just outside of Malory's South Beach Condo, while trying to sell the Whisper Drive plans to Archer disguised as his Cuban Intelligence contact Raul Gomez by Conway Stern.
