Scotch is whisky made in Scotland and aged in oak barrels for at least three years. It is one of Sterling Archer's preferred drinks. While playing baccarat in Monte Carlo, he orders Glengoolie Black and a bag of gummy bears in "Jeu Monegasque". While making peace with his loved ones after being diagnosed with breast cancer, Sterling offers Brett Buckley a bottle of Glengoolie which he describes as a mid-range scotch, and he presents a bottle to Cyril as he is being arrested in "Stage Two". In "Skin Game", Archer drinks Cyril Figgis' bottle of Glengoolie Blue, which Cyril had been saving for a special occasion. In "The Honeymooners", Archer drinks 3 bottles of Glengoolie Blue in a jacuzzi in the Tuntmore Towers Hotel.
- Glengoolie is most likely a reference to Glenfiddich, as the name, bottle, and logo appear very similar. However, it may have elements of the Johnnie Walker brand where Blue is the premium/most expensive variety while Black is mid range. The name Glengoolie is also similar to Glenmorangie, a premium brand of Scottish whisky.
