This "Season 3" has been a bit confusing, many places indicate these Heart of Archness episodes as season 3, but some are still considering it season 2. Also, I heard that there were going to be four episodes in September, but the FX website seems to indicate that there will only be three. I'm hoping the third episode is a double-length one.
