The .300 caliber Walther WA2000 Sniper Rifle is a semi-automatic, bullpup sniper rifle. It was an expensive rifle to produce, so it was stopped after a short period of time. It was produced between 1982 and 1988. These weapons are very rare and valuable. Only 176 total rifles were ever produced.

In "Placebo Effect," Archer had used this weapon to take out some Irish Mob guards.

  • ISIS agents usually use the Heckler & Koch MSG90 Sniper Rifle on missions. "Placebo Effect" is the only instance in which they use an alternate sniper rifle.
  • The same weapon was used in the James Bond film "The Living Daylights", the producers may have had Archer use this as a tribute.
  • The WA2000 was used by a famous video game assassin named Agent 47 from the Hitman series as his weapon of choice.
